Christmas Day Festivities

Santa stopped by Christmas morning, and boy did he leave his traditional mess. A tradition of string was left for the boys to follow to their Santa Present.

This year Santa went a little over board and got the boys a mini atv. Mason calls it a 'Real 4 wheeler'. They boys were beside themselves. They really didn't know what to think.

They are really excited to chase daddy around on the motorcycle.
Mackay screams every time we take him off this thing.

Mason wasn't excited at all to get a replacement dvd player for daddy's truck, since daddy sold his old truck with the dvd player. ahhh. Peace and quiet again on family vacations. This is more a gift for the paretns. ;)

Brownie did his hair just for this pic. After we opened all the presents we let the boys and girl friends burn around the circle for a while. Luckily it wasn't that cold Christmas morning.

We continued to open the rest of the presents as a family, and then headed to Grandpa Kurt's and Grandma Lynn's. We had a TON of fun exchanging gifts, eating yummy breakfast and just playing around.

The party continued as we headed to Grandma Judy's. She always goes all out for Christmas.

T'was The Night Before Christmas...

_DSC1528-Edit
Christmas Eve night was just as fun. We went to the Barker family party. I was in charge of making dinner, which we decided to go with a Mexican theme this year, so I did Cafe Rio style sweet pork burritos. YuM! We were privileged to have Matt's Grandma Allred come with us. She is the sweetest lady and was able to bare my family party for a couple of hours. After we made ginger bread houses, ate and hung out, we headed up north to Em's house. There we were met with the Drapers. We played tons of fun games that Grandma Allred brought up. Small gifts were opened and memories were made and shared. Then it was off to bed so Santa could come.... To Be Continued :)

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve this year was probably one of the funnest we've had in many years. We decided to stick to our family tradition and head up to Monte Cristo and go snowmobiling. The weather has been so crummy here, and there's no snow :( As soon as we reached the parking lot, we broke through the clouds and were blessed with a bluebird day! It was gorgeous and there was more snow than we've ever had on Christmas Eve. We headed out on the snowmobiles and found a good hill. The kids had the time of their lives. As soon as they would get to the bottom, Matt would buzz down on the snowmobile and give them a ride to the top. Over and over they went, wearing themselves out along the way. Plenty of hot chocolate was drank.

We met up with some friends who have 3 of these little Polaris 120 snowmobiles for kids. They were more than generous and let the kids run around for a while. They were in heaven as they scooted around the snow. Maxwell was in tears as we had to tear him off the machine.

Mackay Show

Mackay had his Toddler class at Flips. He thinks he owns the place. Pics were taken with camera phone, kind of blurry :/

ESA Sing a Long

Our first ESA sing a long was way fun. LHM has started quite the tradition that we are happy to have our family involved in. We caroled, listened to John Schmidt, saw Santa and the Jazz Bear.
