Boarding at PC

Saturday we headed up to Park City. We signed the kids up for ski school with Park City Resort. As we were driving up there we passed the big half pipe at the resort and Maxie said "Oh I wish I could do that..." Well, something got messed up when I made the reservation online and I accidentally signed them up for snowboarding - The boys were stoked about it. They both did GREAT! They went out with a small class for 4 hours. The instructor said they did awesome and were naturals. We have 4 more classes to go can't wait!

Mason's 7th

Our baby is now 7. Can't believe it. On each of our kids birthday we sit them down and go over the days events leading up to their birth. They are always really amused and listen intently. Mason's birth was awesome! My water broke 2 weeks before the due date and Mason was the smallest baby we've had. Matt and I are both the older sibling in our family so we know what kind of job that is. Mason is a perfect oldest sibling. He is so caring and good to his little brothers. Mason has really developed a love for music and is doing well in piano - we are so thrilled.

We combined Mason and Maxwell's birthday this year again. We went to the Classic Fun Center in Layton. I can honestly say that the place turned into a CRAZY house. We purposely called ahead to find out which day would be the least crowded. They told me Tuesday - so we booked it. Anyway, I wish they would have told me that Tuesday is '2 dollar Tuesday'. And they had some school field trips there as well. I was so disappointed. But Matt reminded me that the kids had a BLAST - and that's all that matters. They really did have fun! Thanks to all his friends that came!





































On Mason's actual birthday we let him go to Kangaroo Zoo - had a blast there like always.

New Years Get-Away

For Matt's birthday Matt was able to to what he loves - go snowmobiling. And I was lucky to be invited to go with him. We headed out New Years day with the sleds and went to Monte Cristo. We sleded our guts out with our friends and my brother Scooter and his wife Brittney. We were nervous because it was Scooter and B's first time on a snowmobile. After a couple of tip overs, they got the hang of it. It was really cold but way fun. After we were done sledding we headed to the Alaskan Inn in Ogden canyon. What a fun place. We checked in and then headed to Ogden to eat dinner. We ate at Sonora Grill (very good food!) We then headed back to the inn to hang out. Scooter brought up some sweet movies.



We each had our own little cabin that was cozy, warm and nicely decorated.

New Years

2010 is gone and 2011 is here. Wow, this year flew! New years eve is very special because Maxie was born on this day. We passed news years with friends. Jewel's face painting was a hit with the boys. Lynette went out of her way to Make Max's day a day he would forget :) With his own special cupcake with five candles. I brought a pinata for Max, thinking it would be fun for the kids. Max went first because it was his birthday. 3 hits and that baby was down and candy was everywhere. Either Max is super strong or it was a cheap pinata :\ Anyway, the kids still loved it.










We played the new dance game on the Wii (can't remember the name), but it was a lot of fun. Thanks Lynette for putting this together.

Max's 5th

Our Max is finally 5 years old! We can't believe how big and grown up he is. He was pretty excited about his new Lego Star Wars ship. For Max's birthday we as a family to Boondocks and played arcade all day long. Max is very brave and daring. He is also very athletic. He loves to wrestle with his brothers and his dad. Max is a very important part of our family and we love him SO much!
