Great Neighbors

Can you imagine summer without water??? These kids have no worries in the world. Mason and Max wake up every morning wondering what fun activity they will be doing today. Today happened to be swimming with friends.

Our lil' Kira!

We love our neighbors. We had our annual Banbury Circle bbq and it was a blast. We actually combined with another circle to add to the excitement. Great food and fun activities - all in the middle of the circle.

Matt got the cotton candy machine out for all the kids. Mmmm, all you can eat cotton candy...

Monroe Mountains

This 24th holiday we headed for the mountains of Monroe. What a beautiful area with TONS of wildlife. We were able to enjoy the weekend with friends and family. We had an excellent camping spot thanks to Dave and the weather was awesome at a bombing 70 degrees - surely beats the 100 degree weather (especially when you're pregnant).

This is the group at lunch
We were even lucky enough to have Grandma Judy come with us for a couple days.
The kids found a shelter and turned it into their "fort". It's so nice to let your kids run around in mother nature - everybody gets along so well.

The kids are covering their eyes playing the "monster game".

Yes, scary, we're in big trouble with this kid. All week long all Mase wanted to do was ride the wheeler. He was even offering the other kids rides but we told him he's not quite qualified to give rides yet :) Around in circles he went...

The kids were sure excited to see some wild critters. The elk were everywhere. We got a kick out of the calves talking to their mothers.
Saturday we headed to Monroe Peak - Elevation 11,226'. We felt like we were on top of the world.

One of the few pictures of Matt.

While on top of the peak we came across a slew of lady bugs. They were everywhere. Matt was so determined to get a picture of one of the kids with a lady bug on their face. Bailey was the bravest and this is what we came up with.

Here is our Maser trying to act macho and not smile. We love Mase!

Surprise Dinner

Matt surprised me and took me on an amazing date. Matt arranged for my sister Amanda to tend and we headed up North. We met up with our friends the Bangeter's. Michelle and I had no idea where we were going. The car finally stopped at the bottom of Snowbasin. We got on the tram and it took us to the top of the mountain. Then we went to Needles Fine Dining. It was definitely fine dining, we did not know what anything on the menu was. It was so fun to sit, talk, eat and look at the wonderful view. After dinner we found this hike that took you to the peak. It was so beautiful up there. Thanks so much Matt!! It was a blast.

We Love Summer

For Family night Matt and I took the kids up hiking at North Canyon. Our kids love to hike and it was nice and cool.
The boys found this puddle and had a lot of fun going through and playing in it.

We took our kids to the play "High School Musical 2" at Woodland Park. Mase and Max were very excited Kae and Kels were able to come with us. We then met up with the Swans. The kids liked the play they also liked collecting acorns and running around.

After a fun day at Raging Waters we went to a water ski course. It is on a private lake. We ate dinner, hung out with friends, played on the beach and Matt water skied.

Mase and Max loved going off this slide. They boys had so much fun!!

It was so fun to watch these amazing water skiers.

This weekend we went camping at Causey. This picture is hilarious because if you look closely you will see what the boys are roasting. I accidentally left the marsh mellows at home. One of Mason's favorite things about camping is roasting marsh mellows so he wasn't too happy. I brought out some fruit snacks and we put them on sticks and the boys thought they were yummy.

Mase posing with his muscles.

Saturday we went to downtown Huntsville and met up with more friends to go boating. There is the cutest park there plus lots of wildlife. Matt was able to get pictures of owls, squirrels, butterflies and more.

Boating was a blast!! Mase and Hunter loved tubing.

Mase went wake boarding with Matt.

Max and Jade preferred playing on the beach but had fun in the boat.

Farmington Festival Days Parade

We have a tradition of entering Legacy Dance in the Farmington Festival Days Parade. The kids LOVE everything about the parade from face painting, throwing candy to others kids and just hanging out with friends. Each year we make our own float for the little kids to ride on. The older kids dance, as they stroll down main street.
