Family Photo

A while back Matt and Ricky took pics for Legacy Dance and we decided to do some pics of my family. This is my mother, her husband Mike, brother Scooter and his wife Brittney, Amanda and her fiance Nate.

Chance and Mackay pushed around this chair. They looked like 2 old men pushing their walker around. Kept them entertained for a bit though...

RAGNAR 2011

Sweet! I did it. Yes! Something I've always wanted to do, and I had about 24 hours to prepare for it! My good friend Michelle called me in desperation, to ask me if I could fill in for someone on their team that broke their ankle. I wasn't sure if I could handle it but figured since I've continued running since the marathon that I could do it. It was a BLAST. I already knew the girls I would be running with and that made it that much funner. We partied all night long - literally. I ran my leg with no problems except the blisters on my feet, which bled through my shoes. ya, didn't take pictures of that. Thanks ladies for the invite!

Ward Campout

I was asked to help with the ward campout this year, and to tell you the truth it was a lot of fun. We went to Camp Zarahemla in Morgan. It is a beautiful church owned site with tons to do. We started off with service helping move firewood. There was a big grass field for the kids to play games. We played kickball, red rover etc. The highlight was the plane flying over and dropping candy. The kids were beside themselves with excitement.

Great Season Owlz

The season is over for Mason's machine pitch baseball team. They had an awesome year and were very successful. Justin, Skee and Matt were the coaches and they took things very seriously. We entered the playoffs in second place and flew through the playoffs to the championship game. The championship game was very intense and Mase did great. They ended up with a heart breaker, loosing to those pesky Mud Cats. It was a good time while it lasted and second place is AWESOME! We're so grateful for Mason's coaches and he looks up to them so much. The boys all got a trophy followed by a fun pizza party. (Thanks Ang for the pics)

Dirty Dash 2011

We participated with some friends in the Dirty Dash 5k team race at Midway. We got a room at the famous Homestead and made a weekend getaway out of it. Here are the pics.

Our team was the Pink Nasties. We wore Legacy Dance bright pink t-shirts and tutu's. Yes even the dudes wore them. E and Mase thought that was pretty hilarious, but the guys looked hot!

Here's the kids team. They even had a race for the kids. The Piglet Plunge

LKPWL2K11

Another trip to the blessed Lake Powell. We love this place and the kids love it more! Now that school is out we do our annual Lake Powell hair cut as the boys call it, aka buzz cut. It's perfect for the summer, nice and cool and we don't have to comb it. The trip was awesome! We love our week because the weather is not so dang hot you can't stand it and the water is just beginning to warm up.

Max was the fishing KING and had the lucky pole. Between him and Grandpa Kurt they caught every specie of fish on Lake Powell.

We were able to hook up with the Beckstrands for a couple of days while we were down there. There was no argument with Mase and K being able to hang out.
