Grandma's Hospital Visit

I got the opportunity to take my Grandma to the hospital on Friday. I love my Grandma so much so I was more than happy to take her. My Grandma is an amazing person. She had eight children. After she had her children she battled uterus cancer and later ovarian cancer. She lived in Spring City with my Grandpa on a little farm. He died almost three years ago and then this last year she has been in the hospital a lot. She was a release a little while ago and now lives with one of my aunts. My Grandma loves children so she was very excited when I showed up with my kids and even one extra.
I decided to make a fun day out of the hospital visit. We stopped and fed the Ducks. I had two loaves of bread and a huge pack of buns the geese and ducks were thrilled. They came so close the the kids.

After all of the bread was gone and the birds were very comfortable with my kids. they had a brilliant idea to run and act like monsters and scare all of the birds back into the water. I tried to get them to stop and be nice to the animals, but it was no use they would yell, " Monters" even louder. I had to laugh a little.
When then headed over to the park. Love the swings.

It was a fun summer day!!

Soccer Begins

Mason's second year of soccer began this past week. He was so excited when his uniform came. He looked at his number and was ecstatic he was the same the number as last year #1. He went through the house jumping and yelling. He was so eager to try his new uniform on. He put the shorts on and then the shirt. He became very stressed because the shirt was soooo long. ( He wears a size 4 and it was a size 8) Matt could tell Mase was very upset by the shirt so he decided to help the situation (or so he thought) So he grabbed the scissors and cut the bottom of the shirt off. Mase now had a belly shirt. This made him even more upset and he came running to me. I was in shock... I knew Matt was trying to help but I honestly could not comprehend what he was thinking. Since I am not a seamstress Matt's nice office manager helped sew the shirt back together. Luckily he looked as good as new for his first game.

Camping at Hyrum Lake

We went camping at Hyrum lake this weekend. We got there and set up our camp. There were 11 families and tons of kids. Mase and Max were having ton of fun running around with all of the kids. Mase was helping me pick up sticks when we ran into a group of Bees. Mase got stung three times. I felt so bad. Matt came to the rescue and put mud and calmed Mase down. He was very brave and was out playing in no time.
Here is my brave little guy with mud on his bee stings.
How many kids can fit into one little boat?
Tubing. The kids are definitely getting braver on the tube. Thanks to brave little Kyla, she taught them how to do headstands and stand with no hands while tubing.
