Thanksgiving Traditions - Our Favorite Holiday

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It started out at 6am Mase and Daddy got up early to go rabbit hunting with friends. Mase had a hard time sleeping the night before because he was just so excited. The rain, mud and cold weather didn't phaze those boys at all. Throwing rocks, shooting guns and asking boy questions like, "you think the coyotes will get us?" Boys will be boys. Next year Maxwell will join in on the bunny hunt.

Thanksgiving is our favorite holiday. We love the Thanksgiving feast with loved ones but we also love the transition into Christmas. It's this time of year where family traditions start and memories are made.
The rest of our holiday consisted of heading to Gradma Judy's house where she prepared quite the spread. Daddy ate himself sick like usual. We all headed to the basement and play the Wii for hours on end!

GO UTES!!!

Hey, it's Matt here - takin over the blog thing for a second. Anyway, it's that time of the year again. There does not exist a greater instate rivalry than the BYU / Utah game. Here are the Draper home we are true Utah fans, and to be perfectly honest, we do cheer for BYU anytime they are not playing the U (that might make you BYU fans feel a little better). The other day our neighbor Jamon Bell (For those of you who don't know J, he's the ULTIMATE BYU fan - in fact he's actually the guy that runs the clock at all the BYU home games) sent his daughter Miss Jada over to play with Mase. I really couldn't believe my eyes! I just had to take a picture of her in her outfit. Red is just her color. I think you can probably tell in the video that Jada is a true die hard Ute fan. That might be a hard pill for daddy to swallow but it's true, look in her eyes. It is going to be a really fun game and may the best team win!

Disney On Ice!

We had quite the gang that went to Disney on Ice. It was so fun to spend time with family and friends. The boys would yell out every characters name as they appeared on the ice - don't think they missed one. We all made a covenant with the other parents that we wouldn't buy a $10 cotton candy / snow cone. When the kids asked for them we whipped out the 3 for $1 candy we purchased before hand. Talk about being prepared (or el cheapo) - worked great!
