If you can get past the wakeboarding part and Matt's new obsession with his under water camera this video is actually kind of cute!

Camp Mantua
This past weekend we packed up with the neighbors and headed for the beautiful mountains of Mantua. It was great to get out of the valley and into the hills. While we were there we celebrated our good friend, Jada’s birthday.
If you can’t tell, she’s a little animated about her birthday – which she should be because she turned 6 years old.
Tasha came prepared with cupcakes and candles.
‘It’s a pillow, it’s a pet, it’s a pillow pet!’
Mackay was pretty excited to go on a Ranger ride
The traditional ‘log painting’ kept the girls entertained for hours. Good thing it washes away with the next rain storm.
We loaded the rangers and quads with all these people and headed to Perry Resivore where we had a picnic.
Brownie found a killer snake with a forked tongue.
This is the snake with the ‘death grip’ on Brownies hand.
We were so happy to get this shot. Jada decided to hold the snake for a sec and it started to squirm and she freaked out. She ended up passing the snake on to someone else, while we were laughing our heads off.
We set a record on the ranger over the weekend by fitting 12 human beings and had everybody with a buckle.
Max demonstrated just how dirty the kids got running around camp. It’s hard to tell, but his face is covered in dirt as well. Thanks neighbors for making such a fun camp trip – Let’s do it again!!!

LP2K10
Lake Powell 2010 was AWESOME!!! One of our favorite Draper family traditions is to head down south to LP. We headed down Saturday evening and arrived at Bullfrog Marina only to find Pappa Kurt waiting at the dock for us at 10:30 at night. We loaded up the boat with our stuff and headed for the Dry Creek Cruiser (Pappa’s Houseboat) This is Mason and Max’s favorite vacation of the year and they can’t wait to get on Grandpa’s house boat. We found a perfect spot up Hansen Canyon, with nice sandy beaches and best of all – we were all alone with our private desert lagoon. The weather couldn’t have been better – it seemed to be around 90 degrees. The water was just right – as always :)
Baby Mackay did wonderful on his first family trip to LP. The water was just right for him.
Cousin Bennett stayed up till 11:00 at night because he was so excited for his ‘cousins’ to show up. It was all boys all day. Tons of throwing rocks, building sand castles, swimming, going on the slide and last but not least fishing.
For this last Christmas we got the boys the battery powered ‘wave runners’. All though they were far from the real thing they boys rode them for hours on end. They putt around our lagoon and squirt each other and all their aunts and uncles. The long wait from Christmas was worth it.
Pappa Draper – always looking for adventure, climbs a big sandstone peak for a better view.
Little baby Jaylee even made the trip down. She was awesome and oh so cute. So nice to have a female presence ;)
Lil’ Mackay actually took his first forward crawl at Lake Powell. He was so proud of himself.
This was one of the many boy hikes they went on to explore new areas and catch big lizards.
The Dry Creek Cruiser in the desert Oasis.
I didn’t get to ski much last year, being pregnant and all, so I was a little nervous about getting out there. It was like riding a bike though, just a little more sore than I usually am. I love to ski!
It had been a couple of years since Uncle Vaughn tore it up on the wake board but he obviously still has what it takes.
This is a hike up one of the canyons. The boys had shoe issues but that didn’t stop them from making it to the top.
Baby Gabers hanging out…
And now introducing our soon to be sister in law / aunt Ashley. Pauly and Ashley are engaged to be married August 14th
Here’s the whole group!!! Matt set his camera up on a tripod on top of the house boat and remotely took these pictures on the entire group. There were 23 of us there and we couldn’t have asked for better company. Thanks so much Kurt and Lynn for letting us come down – we had a blast.
