Primary Activity

Mason and Max went to the Primary Activity. The theme was"Children Around the World". The kids were put into groups and then they went to different places: Hawaii, Russia, China and Dominca Republic. The kids had fun and learned a lot. Mase was saying "Aloha" all day.

In Russia Brother Hendrickson brought a really cool hat. He let some of the kids try it on.

Raging Waters

We went to Raging Waters!! It was tons of fun. It was a little overcast so we just hung out in the heated pools: Wave Pool, Lazy River and Kiddie Pool. It was fine until you got out of the water and the wind hit you. "Brrrrr" Kids had a blast.

Fun Neighbors!!

I got home from teaching dance and our fun neighbors the Castleberry's had a barbeque. After the barbeque the Short's brought over their fire pit and we roasted marshmellows. The kids had a blast! Thanks to our great neighbors!!

This is Che and the little bundle is cute Bridger. We decide that he is the best dressed little boy. He is super cute!

Lagoon Dance Competition

My dancers had a dance competition at Lagoon. They did so great! For those dancer mom's reading here is how they placed: Supers First, Alls Second, Smalls First, Minis fourth, Micros Third. My 8 soloist were amazing!! Way to go Flip's Dancers!!

We were able to fit a few rides in between the dance competition.

Max loved the "Dino Drop". We went on it twice the second time he held down the bar so I couldn't get him out. He would have like to ride it all day.

It was a fun and busy day.

Our Little Fish!

On our trip to St George last week Mason turned into a fish. We went swimming for several hours. Mason has his Mommy's love for the water and Daddy's talent in the water. Matt took Mason's life jacket off and let him swim. He started by swimming back and forth to Matt and I. Then he jumped off the side of the pool and swam to Matt. Matt would tell him he needed to take a break, he would sit for one second and then jump right back in. ( If I knew how to post the video I would, It is awesome)

Class of 2008

Congratulations Mason, London, Kaelyn, Ethan and Jada on graduation from Joy School.

The big graduation. In their caps and gowns they got their diplomas. They each said their favorite thing about Joy School and what they want to be when they grow up. Here are their answers to what they want to be when they grow up:
Mason: "Firefighter"
Kaelyn: "Mom"
Ethan: "Firefighter"
Jada: "Doctor"
London: "Princess"
(London wasn't to excited about the cap and the gown, so Max jumped right in on the fun)

I am so proud of them. They are such great kids!!

This weekend was Matt's beautiful sister Emily's wedding. We have been waiting for this day for a long time so it was very excitting. Mike is from Parowan, Utah so they decided to get married in the St. George Temple.

Mason should live in Parowan. He fit in perfectly with his cowboy boots. Emily said it was OK for Mason to wear his cowboy boots. Oh and he did in every single picture.

The kids were loving the pond created by a natural spring. There were frogs, fish and bugs. They made fishing poles out of sticks, string and of course strawberries.
Mason and his "MiMi". Mason loves MiMi. He was very upset when he first found out MiMi was going to marry Mike. He told MiMi that she couldn't marry him. Now he loves them both.
