Mase & Max Fall Soccer

This is Max's first year playing soccer. After 2 years of watching big brother, Max was more than ready and it really showed. Max was pretty much the star. It was so nice to just sit on the side lines and cheer him on. A little different then when Mason played the first time :)

Mase has started up in soccer again. This has been a long couple of months without it. He loves it! Mason and Max have the same coach - different teams. Skee is great with the boys. Mason played great and was able to score a goal. We're now working with him to be a little more aggresive.

Max has picked up some bad habits over the summer from all the camping we've done. When he needs to go potty he just finds a place to go. Dang, if he weren't so cute.

Mutton Bustin' Max

At rodeo this Month Max mentioned he wanted to do the mutton bustin' event so we signed him up, thinking he'd change his mind when he climbed on the sheep's back. Well, he didn't change his mind. We're so proud of him. While he didn't last very long it was sure fun to watch. As soon as he was done his dad ran out to make sure he was ok. He looked at his dad and said, "Dad, I need some doves (gloves)." So next month we'll have some gloves and hope that he'll hold on for longer. Good job lil' Maxy! Check out the vid...

Happy Birthday Miss Mo!

(blog hijacking:)) Happy Birthday Miss Mo! We are so lucky to have such a wonderful woman in our lives. She is so thoughtful and unselfish. She'll go out of her way to please everybody. Mommy takes such good care of our home and the kids. The boys just love her. Miss Mo is an incredible dance teacher and makes all her little dancers feel special. We hope you have a wonder day because you deserve it! Thanks for being so great to us. We love you so much!

Thanksgiving Point

I took the boys to Thanksgiving Point. It was $2 Tuesday. It was a little crazy, but the boys had a ton of fun. We met up with my cousins Steph and Stacey and their kids.
Dinosaur Museum
My boys could have spent the whole day in the Dino museum. Mase wanted to know about every dinosaur.
After the Dino Museum we went to Farm Country. Mase and Max loved looking at the animals. Their favorite was feeding the ducks.

Benjamin, Sarie and Mase in the jail.

Loving the wagon ride!!
These are my cute cousins!!

I bought chalk paint. It is the coolest. The kids love it and it dries just like chalk.

Kels and Max were in heaven painting their bodies, hair and of course the driveway.

Foxboro Elementary

History was made this Monday with the opening of Foxboro Elementary. Not too shabby for Mase.... first day of school at a brand new school. Poor Maxwell gets sad when he's separated from his big brother and he had to get in the picture with Mason.
We're so proud of Mason. He's been looking forward to his first day of school all summer.

Lucky for Mason, he has a ton of great friends (and most of them are girls). They all had the jitters as the walked hand in hand to school.

Brand new Foxboro Elementary. We are really impressed with the way this school was built and what it has to offer. It's amazing how things have changed since we were in school.
This is the Principal at the opening flay cermony. He has been known to know every child by name in the whole school, and he promises he will know everyones name.

Bees Game

We headed to the Bees game with our friends the Bell's and Erickson's. It was a very nice summer night and afterwards they had an awesome firework show. A balloon lady made spiders for the boys. Thanks J for the tickets.

Our Harvest

We've actually had a good time teaching our boys about gardens and growing. Mason and Maxwell check on their little 3' x 5' raised garden daily. Below are pictures of actual tomatoes from the garden. They taste as good as they look:)

Long Live Flaming Gorge

Since Pappa Kurt was a kid the Draper family reunion has been held at Flaming Gorge. All of Matt's family memories are from up there. What a great place to camp with family. The family has become so big with kids and grandkids that it's kind of branched off into mini reunions but we are still able to see cousins, aunts and uncles etc... Flaming Gorge is so beautiful. The green clear water, big fish and vibrant colors are some of the things that makes this place so beautiful.

Mason and Max had a ball on the tube as usual. Mason is "thumbs up" for faster and Max is "no hands". Aunt Meme is just along for the ride.

Mason actually got pretty brave on the ol' tube. Matt whipped them out of the wake and we'd stop to make sure Mase was ok and he's give us a confused look and say "Why are we stoping??" So we'd whip him around some more.

Uncle Paul admiring his mellow - I wonder what he's thinking...

Back at camp with the whole family...

Michael day dreaming after a long day of fishing and playing.

On Saturday we headed to a cave called Brush Creek Cave. It's the deepest cave in Utah. We brought extra flashlights for the journey. The cave is pretty open for the first 200 yards then it tightens down to small passages about the width of your body (when you're not pregnant). Matt, Mason, Paul, Michael and Kyle went on from that point and spent about an hour exploring. Mason was all over it! He was actually leading the way. All the guys were crawling around really slow and Mase, being so small, was able to cruise through the cave. Matt was really impressed with how adventurous Mason was. The boys actually became a little disoriented inside the cave but didn't take long for them to find their way out.
