Snowbird

We’ve made it a tradition to go to Snowbird at the start of every fall for Oktoberfest.  Last year I was 8 months pregnant so we just rode the tram to the top of Hidden Peak, but this year we decided to hike it again.  We hiked 3000 vertical feet in 4.5 miles and it took us a little over 2.5 hours.  The top of Hidden Peak is 11,000 feet, so the air was thin, but the hike proved to be well worth it.  Perhaps what is more impressive is that a 4 year old and two 6 year olds made it to the top too – not much complaining either =)  Oh, Mackay made it to the top too, but he was in a little more comfort then we were….  he rode on mommy and daddy’s back the whole way up – yea it was quite the workout.

We rode the tram on the way down

After we hit the apline slide once with the kids.  Always a hit.

Way to on hiking that. Its pretty high! We are lazy and just take the tram even if I am not preggers, hehe! Your boys are amazing for doing the whole hike. We just got back from Moab and Bri couldn't make it up to the Delicate Arch, she is too skinny I think, lol :)
