This memorial weekend we headed to Goblin Valley. It was a new experience for our family as we have never been there before. We headed out got there just fine. About an hour after we got there it started to sprinkle a little. Well, a little turned into a lot and it rained for 24 hours straight! We were fortunate to have a dry camper so we didn't get too wet, but the 6 square feet of the camper got really old with our 2 little busy boys so we headed out for drier ground in the truck. About 4:00pm there was a break in the storm and we decided to hike a canyon called Little Crazy Horse. What is usually a dry walk was a good size creek. We were conscious of flash flooding and kept on high ground.
It was fun to be able to see these natural water falls that have formed over the years.
We had to keep our eyes on our little dare devils, but they had a blast climbing walls and throwing rocks...

A Memorable Memorial Day
What a beautiful part of the country we live close to. It felt like we were in Lake Powell with out water.

Matt - I need to take some lessons from you! Man your pictures are stunning!
I think I would have cut the trip short too - I can't stand mud. I would have loved to be with you when you went to a car wash - my gosh.
That places looks awesome. I have never even heard of it!
Glad you had a fun time!
Oh my heck! You are so good with the clicker! The picture's are awesome. Where is goblin valley? Did your truck ever come clean?
Cool pics - the rain probably made it more exciting with the spontaneous waterfalls!
Matt-Your pictures are awesome!! (You need to teach Brant a thing or two about taking pictures) Looks like a great trip!
Great Pictures! I've been there before but those pictures were way better than what I remember of that place! All the money and classes are paying off eh? :)
